On June 22, 2005, Daniel J. Imperato officially decided to start his considerations for a possible run at the White House in 2008, after decades of traveling the globe and dwelling amongst its people.
Daniel has had the unique ability to see the world many times over through the eyes of everyday people and not through the eyes of an out-of-touch politician. By traveling the globe many times over, he has developed mutual respect and understanding of the world's cultures and its people.
Daniel has a vision of a global society, a society in which the United States is a strong leader of the world, and a beacon of freedom, liberty, and democracy. However, along with the United States ' leadership, must come understanding of different cultures, religions, and leadership styles. The world is a diverse place in which everyone has so much to offer.
Daniel seeks to be the first person to enter the office of the White House with a truly global breadth of knowledge and experience, before entering office. He believes that someone who is dealing with the leaders of the world, should be familiar with the world and its customs, and not simply 'learn on the job.'
Beyond being stronger abroad, Imperato feels that we need to strengthen our resources here at home. He favors supporting our troops and giving them all of the necessary resources to protect our great nation. Yet although we must support our troops as much as possible, Daniel believes that we should be a country of peace, not of war. His vision is for our great nation to hold the torch of world leadership dutifully, and not to fan the flames which incite anger and wrath amongst our friends and allies.
Daniel also supports a return to fiscal responsibility, and the return of the balanced budget. Our future is looking bleak when it comes to the financial status of our nation, and we need someone who can have the discipline to make our country work in a responsible way.
As a responsible citizen, Daniel Imperato has done many things to help aid and better our country and the world. Being a strong activist for Africa, Daniel has selflessly dedicated his time to the African Center Foundation, a United Nations NGO (Non-Governmental Organization), where he know serves as a trustee, and head of the Palm Beach branch. Through the African Center Foundation, Daniel has become a leader in the global fight against HIV/AIDS which greatly plagues Africa.
Additionally, Daniel is very passionate about the youth and their training and direction. In his free time, Daniel mentors youth who wish to become successful in life, business, and personal ethics.
After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Daniel worked with our government, as a private citizen, to ensure that America would be stronger, and safer against any attacks of this nature. To this day, Daniel utilizes his knowledge of other cultures around the world to promote America in a positive light, and create relations of mutual respect towards other nations.
In 2004, Daniel Imperato was named Chairman of the NRCC (National Republican Congressional Committee) Honorary Business Council, composed of top business people from around the country. In addition, Imperato also received the NRCC Businessman of the Year Award, and was awarded a Ronald Reagan Gold Medal.
Daniel was born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 9, 1958, the son of Sonny Imperato and the late Mary C. Imperato. The Imperatos grew up on the West End of Boston, and were originally immigrants from Italy. Daniel's father was a man of honor who kept his word, and Daniel often speaks of the importance of keeping one's word and how that has propelled him to where he is today.
As a young man, Daniel grew up playing sports, and developed a strong liking towards hockey. Daniel was also an alter boy, and spent time learning about faith, morals, and principles.
Lacking a wealthy family to send him to college, Daniel, like most Americans, had to work in order to pay bills and support himself. At first he was a semi-professional hockey player, where he developed an insatiable drive and strong propensity towards achieving his goals, no matter what it took. He then began his business career in 1977 transforming the manufacturing facilities in Israel through adapting them to the global marketplace along with bringing financing to the factories for global expansion. He also operated a trading company in Singapore and owned a manufacturing company in Belgium. In his last business venture, Imperato was in the process of organizing a global sub-sea fiber-optic telecommunications cable network linking 70 countries together, with offices in London, Spain, Italy,
U.A.E., Hong Kong, Singapore, Chile, Brazil, Palm Beach, Washington and New York.
Imperato brings over thirty years of experience in global business planning and development and has personal relationships at high levels around the world. Daniel has consulted for Fortune 500 corporations, with a mix of product lines, consisting of telecommunications products and services, telecommunications equipment including v-sat terminals and handheld mobile satellite telephones, along with passport and identification cards services and secure documents for foreign governments around the world. He has also orchestrated real estate development around the globe ranging from commercial office buildings, sports arenas and entertainment facilities, to shopping malls.
Daniel is married to Jan Deborah Imperato, and has a stepson, Joshua. The Imperatos live in West Palm Beach, Florida. Like most Americans, the Imperatos believe in faith and family.
Daniel has a unique value, explosive energy and has the ability to achieve what most others cannot. Daniel is also a dedicated honorable businessperson with morals and values that are based on trust and integrity. Imperato is a man who gets things done no matter how hard the task. His faith, from his days as an alter boy, has been embedded in his demeanor and spirit. Daniel walks in the spirit at all times and believes that he can make a huge change in America for its people. In fact, it is through his faith that he believes that he can bridge the gap between Americans, start the dialogue that our country needs, and bring people together, for with God at his side, Daniel believes anything is possible.
